3.I learned many things about how drugs are made such as HPLC, (high pressure liquid chromatography) which is a process in which proteins are separated into useful proteins and useless proteins by using their protein charge. This process is measured by a spectrophotometer. We also learned about analytic chemistry by looking at graphs that have spikes in them and how to make the spikes go away. Finally, we learned how they grow cell cultures by looking at cell culture incubators.
4. I liked seeing how the scientists worked in a real job because it gave me a preview about what I might be doing someday. I also liked learning about advanced Biotech concepts.
